Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to all agreements between Dr. Farzaneh Samsami ("Provider") and clients ("Client") for coaching services, digital products, and the AI Companion subscription through candlewithin.com.

(1) The Provider offers coaching in the form of conversations, guidance, and personal accompaniment. Coaching is not therapy and does not replace medical or psychological treatment.

(2) The Provider also offers digital products and an AI Companion subscription giving generous access to an AI-powered reflection tool. A fair use policy applies (see section 5a).

Sessions take place online or in person by agreement. The Provider does not guarantee specific outcomes. The Client remains responsible for their own decisions and actions.

Current prices are shown on the website. In accordance with § 19 UStG, no VAT is charged; all stated prices are final prices. Payment is collected in advance through Stripe unless otherwise agreed.

(1) The AI Companion subscription is currently priced at €8 per month and renews automatically each month until cancelled. In accordance with § 19 UStG, no VAT is charged.

(2) Payment is charged monthly in advance via Stripe on the renewal date.

(3) Cancellation: You may cancel at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months; access continues until the end of the paid period.

(4) Right of withdrawal: EU consumers have the right to withdraw within 14 days of subscribing without giving reasons. If you expressly consent to the service beginning immediately before the withdrawal period expires, and acknowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal once the service is fully provided, the right of withdrawal expires upon full performance (§ 356 para. 5 BGB). If you have already used the service in part, a proportionate charge for the period used may apply (§ 357e BGB). To exercise this right, contact hello@candlewithin.com.

(5) Free usage allowances for non-subscribed users may be adjusted without prior notice.

(1) The AI subscription includes generous daily usage of the AI Companion. To ensure quality for all subscribers, a fair use policy applies.

(2) Automated, bulk, or commercially exploitative use is not permitted.

(3) CandleWithin reserves the right to limit access temporarily if usage significantly exceeds typical personal reflection patterns.

(4) This does not affect normal, everyday use of the companion.

Booked coaching sessions may be cancelled or rescheduled without charge up to 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged in full.

(1) EU consumers have the right to withdraw from a contract within 14 days without giving reasons.

(2) For digital content made available immediately at the client's explicit request, the right of withdrawal expires upon delivery.

(3) For services (coaching sessions): if the client expressly consents to performance beginning before the 14-day withdrawal period expires, and acknowledges that completing the session will extinguish their right of withdrawal, the right of withdrawal expires once the session has been delivered (§ 356 para. 4 BGB).

All website content (texts, prompts, materials) is copyright protected. Redistribution or commercial use without prior written consent is not permitted.

(1) The AI conversation tool is for personal reflection only. It is powered by third-party AI service providers; their terms of service apply additionally.

(2) Conversations of registered users are stored for up to 90 days and then automatically deleted. Anonymous usage is not stored; only an anonymised IP hash is retained for rate-limiting purposes.

(3) No warranty is given for the completeness, accuracy, or fitness for purpose of AI-generated responses.

(1) The Provider is liable only for intent and gross negligence.

(2) No liability is accepted for the Client's decisions, the outcomes of coaching, or reliance on AI-generated content.

German law applies. The German version of these terms is authoritative in case of conflict.
